DECONSTRUCTION A Play in One Act by Douglas H. Boxley.
In a world where cyber space is the new medium for the beginning of many relationships, can anyone really be acquainted with anyone without knowledge of there past? Can a love with no past last forever? In Deconstruction, a play in one act by Douglas H. Boxley, unsuspecting characters find themselves in the midst of love, murder, and the reversal of fortune.
DEAD A Play by Todd Fisher
Why write a play about death? Well there are only two things that are inevitable in life and writing a play about taxes just seemed fucking depressing! Only when everybody is dead can we finally talk about death. Hopefully you’ll be able to talk about it too. Warning: This Comedy Might Kill You!
The Informall Theater Company is a theater company made up of professional actors, dancers, playwrights, directors, and students of all ages and skill levels. Founded by Douglas H. Boxley and Todd Fisher in 1998 as a vehicle for exploring new plays in the Triad, ITC has produced over a dozen new works for Greensboro audiences. ITC has expanded its vision by helping create the Greensboro Fringe Festival, an organization dedicated to helping emerging theater artists produce new works for the stage and screen.
Douglas H. Boxley, co-artistic director of The Informall Theater Company, is determined to create theater that will attract new generations of audiences. The Greensboro Fringe Festival premiered four of his plays (X≤Y, Brain Hemorrhage, A Universe Apart, and Mozambique) in recent years which he wrote and directed. Boxley also wrote and starred in the 48 Hour Film Festival award winning film Unhinged: The Sly Stevens Story produced by Hyperactive Entertainment Inc. Currently he is working on an untitled mockumentary of Greensboro with the same production company. As a theater instructor for The Community Theater of Greensboro’s Harlequin Troupe, he directed Durang’s An Actor’s Nightmare and Ayckbourn’s Ernie’s Incredible Illusinations. He remains active in the community as a theater instructor for WinWin Resolutions Inc.
