2013 Greensboro Fringe Festival Shows

Welcome to The 11th Annual Greensboro Fringe Festival, January 24th - February 10th 2013! All Shows are at the City Arts Studio Theater unless otherwise noted (200 N. Davie St., Greensboro, NC 27401). Click here for directions.

All shows are admission by a suggested donation of $10 unless otherwise noted. All seating is First come First served. No reservations will be accepted. Please click on each individual show for more details.

   Thursday January 24th   

6 pm - My Princess Bride
One man's take on the "classic tale of true love & high adventure."
Written and performed by Joe Brack.


8 pm - Fringe Dance Concert
featuring new works by Renay Aumiller, Christine Fisher, Sara Tourek, Lauren Trollinger, Toni Craige and Leah Wilks.

10 pm - Lady Land!
Lady Land! is the coming out, "reality cabaret" of a Jesus-loving, redneck, senior citizen, lesbian diva. written and performed by Will Nolan

aims to "push the envelope," encouraging audience participation while addressing social issues through movement performance.

Presented by the Greenboro Playwrights Forum.
The Sunday February 10th matinee will be at 2pm

7 pm - "The barren room"...
This play depicts how the eugenics project has affected families across the U.S. presented by Andre Minkins and Will Boone at the International Civil Rights Museum. Tickets are $10. The Sunday February 10th matinee will be at 3pm.




   Saturday Feb 9th   

2 pm - Livestock Players presents Pegasus Project: Young Writers at the Fringe: Eight plays by local high school students will be presented in a stage reading performance.




   Saturday Feb 9th   

2:30 pm - The Ballad of Green Girl *
Join Green Girl as she embarks on a journey to save her galaxy by learning about exercise, healthy eating and nature conversation.

* This performance will occur at the Geeksboro Coffeehouse and Cinema
