Presented by the Greensboro Playwrights Forum. The performance on Sunday, the 12th, will be at 2pm.

Al and Pete by Steve Willis

Is a casual conversation between two old friends. It unexpectedly turns into a deep and revealing discussion about love, sex, and loss.

 

 



Bus Station by Gwen Poole

Tells the story of a lady who remembers the anniversary of the death of her little girl twenty years ago by returning to the place where she heard the news of her untimely death. On this particular night, she encounters a young college girl who offers her some consolation for her anguish.

 



Contents by Bill Duvall

The poetic telling of one man's journey through the Underground Railroad inside a crate. The historic meeting of William Still and his brother Peter.

 



A Cup of Coffee by Evan Guilford-Blake

A naturalistic story of a loving but uneasy father and his bright and seriously ill daughter who come to terms with their love for each other.

 



Tera by Randy Morris

A romantic betrayal between a husband and his computer.

 



Thingy-Things by Flip Young

a humorous tale as Iris tries desperately to get her parents up to speed in the modern digital age, but they just don't understand these fancy thingy-things.

 



Truth or Consequences by Trish Forbes

Tells the story of a dazed and confused Sam who finds himself in a funeral home. He meets an Angel who informs Sam that he is indeed dead.

The Promise by Alejandra Granados (Western Guilford High School)

The argument between Father and daughter reveals the need for trust and honesty.

 



Did Somebody Say "Intervention"? by Meir O'Brien (American Hebrew Academy)

A group of women in a retirement home, love nothing more than playing games with each other when the young nurse becomes unwittingly involved.

 



The Drift of Things by Samuel Silverstein (American Hebrew Academy)

Two people meet and talk, but the problem is they never really listen. Can they find happiness?
